All Faiths’ and Rochester Grammar School are the founding partners of the Thinking Schools Academy Trust. We work closely together on many aspects of education but particularly the teaching and learning of “thinking skills” to enable all our pupils to think deeply and be adaptable to our rapidly changing world.
We admit children from 3 years old until the summer before they move on to Secondary School at 11 years.
Our classes are organised in three key stages:
(Nursery and Reception) Children aged 3, 4 and 5 years.
Key Stage 1
Children aged 5 and 6 years.
Key Stage 2
Children aged 7 to 11 years.
We also specialise in teaching deaf children. Our expert staff help the children to communicate effectively using British Sign Language, Sign Supported English, finger spelling, lip reading and speech – “total communication”.
Our Children’s Centre (Gun Lane Children’s Centre) provides services for about 600 local families. We work closely with colleagues in maternity and health care to meet the needs of families with children up to the age of 5 years. Please make sure you complete a Registration Form to take full advantage of these services.
Our staff work closely together to provide a safe, clean, calm and stimulating learning environment for all children.
We take learning into the outdoor environment too – with a large field, a copse, a pond and plenty of playground space.
